" walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air," in other words as Satan controlled your heart and mind by the lies and deceptive spirits of his that had abode in and comprised your thought life, kept you captive and dead to God in sin. John writes repeatedly of "the prince of this world" (12:31; 14:30; 16:11). In his Epistle he describes him as "he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4)and matches against him the Spirit of truth who indwells believers. "The whole world," John says, "lieth in the evil one" (5:19). He is the rebellious 'cosmocrator', world ruler-a word which, however, appears only once, used in the plural of his lieutenants, the "world rulers of this darkness" (Eph. 6:12).
This WORLD "Cosmos" is according to the Prince of the Power of the Air...Satan's. The Bible opens with God's creation of the heavens and the earth. It does not say that he created the world in the sense that we are discussing it now. Through the Bible the meaning of "the world" undergoes a development, and it is only in the New. Testament (though perhaps to a lesser extent already in the Psalms and some of the Prophets) that "the world" comes to have its full spiritual significance. We can readily see the reason for this development. Before the Fall of man, the world existed only in the sense of the earth, the people on the earth, and the things on the earth. As yet there was no cosmos, no "world," in the sense of a constituted order. With the Fall, however, Satan brought on to this earth the order which he himself had conceived, and with that began the world system of which we are speaking. Originally our physical earth had no connection with "the world" in this sense of a Satanic system, nor indeed had man; but Satan took advantage of man's sin, and of the door this threw open to him, to introduce into the earth the organization which he had set himself to establish. From that point of time this earth was in "the world," and man was in "the world." So we may say that before the Fall there was an earth; after the Fall there was a "world"; at the Lord's return there will be a kingdom. Just as the world belongs to Satan, so the Kingdom belongs to our Lord Jesus. Moreover it is this Kingdom that displaces and that will displace the world. When the "Stone not made with hands" shatters man's proud image, then the kingdom of this world will "become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ" (Dan. 2:44, 45; Rev. 11:15).
Politics, education, literature, science, art, law, commerce, music-such are the things that constitute the cosmos, and these are things that we meet daily. Subtract them and the world as a coherent system ceases to be. In studying the history of mankind we have to acknowledge marked progress in each of these departments. The question however is: In what direction is this "progress" tending? What is the ultimate goal of all this development? At the end, John tells us, antichrist will arise and will set up his own kingdom in this world (1 John 2:18, 22; 4:3; 2 John 7; Rev. 13). That is the direction of this world's advance. Satan is utilizing the material world, the men of the world, the things that arein the world, to head everything up eventually in the kingdom of antichrist. At that hour the world system will have reached its zenith; and at that hour every unit of it will be revealed to be antiChristian.
And we have arrived! The internet is this COSMOS condensed, and full of Spiritual Wickedness as never before!
There is No Time & SPACE in the SPIRITUAL REALM!

And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. 4You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
Very important! "he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error."
John is referring to hearing THE APOSTLES DOCTRINE!
When engaging in bible debate concerning truth, do not get pulled in by these spirits that will not hear Truth! Titus 3:9But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 10A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
Stop trying to "win these demons" they will WIN YOU! You will not have the "Covering of the Word" if you continue going after these familiar spirits.
Titus 3:10 A man that is an heretick [141 hairetikos] after the first and second admonition reject; Give them Biblical admonition twice...your done!
1 Timothy 4:1-3 1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
Leviticus 19:31 31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.
Leviticus 20:6 6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

Familiar Spirits Hebrew owb: a mumble as from a water skin because of it's hollow sound; a bottle; a necromancer or ventriloquist. Translated bottles (Job 32:19); and familiar spirits (Leviticus 19:31; 20:6,27; Deuteronomy 18:11; 1 Samuel 28:3-9; 2 Kings 21:6; 23:24; 1 Chronicles 10:13; 2 Chronicles 33:6; Isaiah 8:19; 19:3; 29:4). These are demon spirits possessing mediums—those who give their will to them, to imitate dead human beings, make predictions, promote doctrines (false d.), etc. (1 Timothy 4:1-7)
Seducing Spirits 1 Timothy 4:1 Greek: planos pneuma. Planos means: Roving, an impostor or misleader; deceiver, seducers. Pneuma means: a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze, a spirit (human) the rational soul, vital principle, mental disposition, etc. or (superhuman) an angel, demon or (divine) God, Christs; spirit, the Holy Spirit: ghost, life, spirit, mind. It is clear when one reads 1 Timothy 4:1 in it's context that the translators gave these words their proper meaning. In this case Paul was saying that in the latter times there would be people led astray by roving, impostor, deceiver, and seducing demons. And that these people would be led into false doctrines. These are doctrines of devils. (Greek daimonion—a demonic being or devil). As we have found in the Old Testament scriptures, these demons would be called "familiar spirits". A familiar spirit or seducing spirit can manifest itself in more than one way. (1) A familiar spirit is that power that works in a medium or necromancer and wizard. These are people who can consult with the dead and/or bring back the dead. (2) These spirits are "ancient" and have destroyed millions of souls that thought they could "Stand" 1Cor 12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
20But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. 22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
